This monthly activity provides audience members with pharmacy-related education in a variety of frequently changing areas such as medications/drug classes, disease states, current literature and clinical practice guidelines, patient cases, and safety, administration, and regulatory issues. Learners have the ability to interact with speakers directly and receive real-time and up-to-date information. Learners may join in-person or virtually.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss new and existing medications.
  2. Describe the impact of literature and clinical guidelines on pharmacy and medical practice.
  3. Explain safe and effective medication therapies for different disease states.
