Overview

Open to: Billings Clinic Physicians, APPs, and allied health team members in the areas of pathology, oncology, and dermatology only.

This twice-monthly activity will provide a forum for discussion of the spectrum of dermatology cases and evidence-based dermatologic treatment, allowing the integration of clinical presentation, histopathologic diagnosis, management, and literature review. This integration will improve patient care through continued learning and sharing of best practices as well as consultation on diagnostic dilemmas. Dermatologists will present cases from their practices, discuss testing, and demonstrate photographs of gross lesions. Dermatopathologists will present photomicrographs of histology and discuss differential diagnoses. All participants will discuss management, current literature and research that influences the clinical management, and development of and adherence to clinical guidelines.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify patients at risk for skin cancer and other dermatologic disorders.
  2. Discuss differential diagnoses of these disorders.
  3. Utilize clinical practice guidelines to manage and optimize care.
