Overview

This in-person only learning activity is designed for physicians, APPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals seeking foundational knowledge and practical insights into advanced wound care. The curriculum will benefit a diverse group, including primary care and specialty staff (e.g., outpatient, ICU, med-surg) as well as newly onboarded staff, bedside nurses, and regional healthcare partners.

Readily applicable clinical pearls and tips for what can be done at critical access hospitals will be presented along with a deeper understanding of conditions. This activity is not intended for seasoned wound care specialists who already possess a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Assess a wound on initial presentation.
  2. Identify factors related to wound non-healing.
  3. Utilize increased knowledge of advance wound care modalities.

Registration

Event registration: includes learner materials, CME credit, refreshments, and lunch. In-person learning only.

  • Physician: $175.00

  • APP (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner): $175.00

  • Nursing Professionals (RN, LPN, etc.): $110.00

  • Allied Health Professionals (PT, OT, RD, PharmD, etc.): $110.00

  • Students (nursing or residents) MUST REGISTER : $0.00 (free)

Optional, pre-event workshops (industry hosted - no CME):
We are pleased to offer
several non-CME workshops the day before this conference that are designed to familiarize learners with things like wound vacs, Medicare reimbursement, skin substitutions, and more.

Workshops are free; however, learners must register for the conference to be eligible to attend the workshops.  Workshops are hosted by pharmaceutical and/or device manufactures or distributors.  No CME or CEUs will be awarded for participation in the optional workshop sessions.

Workshop registration closes October 11th at 11:00 pm.
