2025 Trauma Multidisciplinary Peer Review Conference

Open to: Billings Clinic General surgeons, Orthopedic surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Anesthesiologists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Critical Care Specialists, Hospitalists, and APPs who care for trauma patients.

This monthly M&M conference provides peer review and presentation of trauma cases involving mortality and/or complications while offering opportunities for education of the broader trauma team. All cases presented focus on improvement in processes that result in the improvement of outcomes for the injured trauma patient. Evidence-based literature and studies are utilized to compare levels of trauma care with national standards, implement new clinical pathways, and design process improvement measures.

1. Discuss appropriate diagnostic and treatment alternatives for cases presented.
2. Apply evidence-based treatment guidelines in the front-line care and transport of trauma patients.
3. Identify weaknesses in current trauma care clinical pathways.

The Billings Clinic is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Billings Clinic designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

-        1.0 CC points toward the CME requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program.

-        1.0 CC points toward the CME requirements of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery’s Maintenance of Certification program.

It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS CC or ABTS MO credit.
