Overview
This case-based activity meets two to three times a week to foster multidisciplinary discussion around the diagnosis and treatment of oncology patients. It is attended by a variety of medical specialties and allied health personnel involved in cancer care, including learners from Cody, Wyoming and Missoula, Montana. Radiation oncology, surgery, subspecialties, and pathology are included as well. The content consists of current cases presented for multidisciplinary discussion. Each session will focus on management of a variety of cancers, including Breast, Lung, Head and Neck, GI, Hematology and Urology. Most of these are prospective evaluations of cases that will require multidisciplinary care management.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Order appropriate diagnostic tests to ensure accurate staging.
  2. Discuss appropriate treatment alternatives for cases presented, including medical and surgical management, and available clinical trials.
  3. Provide appropriate follow-up and survivorship case based on analysis of data.

Billings Clinic is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
