This monthly activity provides audience members with pharmacy-related education in a variety of frequently changing areas such as medications/drug classes, disease states, current literature and clinical practice guidelines, patient cases, and safety, administration, and regulatory issues. Learners have the ability to interact with speakers directly and receive real-time and up-to-date information. Learners may join in-person or virtually.

1. Discuss new and existing drug therapies.
2. Describe the impact of literature and clinical guidelines on pharmacy and medical practice.
3. Explain safe and effective medication therapies for different disease states.

 

Credit equivalencies for non-physician learners:
Generally, CME activities that are designed for physician learners are accepted by other non-physician certifying boards and licensing bodies such as the AAPA, ANCC, Montana Board of Nursing, Montana Board of Pharmacy, and others.

Montana Board of Pharmacy
The Montana Board of Pharmacy accepts certificates of participation for educational activities from education programs that have been approved for CME by an accredited CME provider.  Pharmacists may receive CEU for programs other than those listed on the ACPE list of providers.  For additional information, please visit the Montana Board of Pharmacy’s website on renewals and continuing education here.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to the Billings Clinic CME division at [email protected].

Billings Clinic reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
