Overview

The MOMA Primary Care Roundup is a live and virtual activity designed to present the evaluation and management of a broad range of conditions commonly seen in medical practice.  Primary care providers and specialists will benefit from the breadth, depth, and practicality of the subjects discussed including wound medicine, value-based care, restless leg syndrome, updates in diabetes, alcohol withdrawal, musculoskeletal issues, use of medical apps in medical education, weight loss, COPD, and more.

Schedule-at-a-Glance

Although we would love to see and connect with you in person, we realize that is not feasible or preferable for all. That’s why—in addition to the 2024 MOMA Primary Care Roundup taking place in-person August 9-11, 2024 in Billings, Montana—we are offering a completely virtual, live-streamed experience. Additionally, we will be recording each live, streamed lecture for conversion to on-demand content.  With virtual attendance, you can remain in your home community and still access more than 20 hours of AOA Category 1-A Credits—available to access live August 9-11, 2024 or on-demand after the event from August 16th-October 15, 2024.

26 total credits available (24 credits available for online or enduring learners):

  • Friday, August 9th -
    • 9 total credits available as live, online, and enduring content
  • Saturday, August 10th -
    • 9 total credits available as live, online, and enduring content
  • Sunday, August 11th -
    • 8 total credits available
      • 5 credits available as live, online, and enduring content
      • 1 credit available enduring only content
      • 2 credits available for live only, in-person OMT session

Registrants will choose a participation type upon registration:

  • In-person participation
  • Live online-only participation
  • On-demand participation

Registration deadlines:

  • In-person registration - August 1, 2024 at 10:59 pm.
  • Live online-only or on-demand only registration - August 7, 2024 at 10:59 pm.

Please note: If you are unable to attend any of the CME sessions live, you will have access to the sessions on-demand for up to 60 days after the event and you will be eligible to receive AOA Category 1-A Credit for successful completion of each course.

**In-person OMT workshop not included in on-demand content and will not be available for virtual learners.**

In-person attendees: What is included?

Included in the in-person learner tuition:

  • Morning snacks
  • Afternoon snacks
  • CME certificate
  • Lunch for hands-on OMT participants only - Sunday, August 11th

**Lunch will not be included for in-person learners except for those attending the hands-on, live OMT session. The Billings Clinic cafeteria is adjacent to the activity space and will be open from 6:30 am – 7:30 pm.

We all understand that live, in-person learning is the best venue for education: learner participation, networking with speakers, and networking with colleagues. But we want you to know that the virtual educational venue is here to stay, and, to continue to be relevant, we have to embrace this change. If you are an in-person attendee, this means understanding we have to involve those attending virtually as best we can by making sure they hear audience questions, are easily able to ask questions, and understand they are a large percentage of our attendees so we want to involve them actively as best we can. Also, the cost of in-person activities is an issue that has caused many associations to minimize their in-person offerings. We hope you can bear with us as we strive to continue in-person activities while doing our best to keep these costs down.

Access to Recorded Presentations

With the exception of the hands-on OMT workshop on Sunday, each lecture will be recorded. These recordings will be posted to the online streaming portal after the conference and be available for those who are not able to participate in-person or via live stream. Viewing the recordings will offer the same amount of CME credit as the respective live sessions and content can be viewed for up to 60 days following the posting date.
