Overview
The Endocrinology Case Conference is a case-based discussion incorporating presentation, appropriate diagnostic workup and therapeutic decision-making with a goal of reviewing current standards of care and treatment modalities of patients with diabetes, hyperparathyroidism and other endocrine diseases. Evaluation and treatment of these patients with endocrinopathies requires a multidisciplinary approach and advances in therapy for treatment requires close attention to changing guidelines and best practices. This series provides a forum for subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to develop competence in multidisciplinary endocrine case management and care plan development, with potential for the inclusion of local referring providers.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss appropriate diagnostic and treatment alternatives, both medical and surgical, for endocrine cases presented.
